Sacked| Who Will Bring The Happy Days in Orlando Pirates? Raja Casablanca 4-0 Orlando Pirates Following a very disappointing display by Orlando Pirates against Raja Casablanca in Morocco, the Buccaneers were sent back home with sad reality of being thrown out of the CAF Champions League. All the goals were scored before half tome.
Coach Zinnbaur's team selection was so questionable. The rumours are saying that he is on his way out! The Premier Soccer League of South Africa is now considered as one of those leagues the fans and analysts regards as "farmers league" where one team dominates everything... as Mamelodi Sundowns is having no competition for a fourth year now. The same situation is seen with the big leagues such as Bundesliga, Ligue 1, (Serie A- was taken out since Inter milan took charge this season) all these leagues are called "farmers league" for being too predictable every season.
Sundowns will be the first team to win the brand new League Cup, the new beautiful DSTV PREMIERSHIP trophy. The Buccaneers had a very strange season where they finally won a cup but with a very bad season of injuries and disappointing results which led them being thrown outof the CAF Confed before Semi-finals. Coach Zinnbaur is showing signs being confussed with his team selection again as they were embarrassed away from home. The rumours that the Soweto Gaints are already looking for the new coach to replace Josef Zinnbaur as they are running out of patience now. An Algerian name is trending on social media but there are not formal meetings between the team and that particular coach. Let us jump straight to the possible names that we might see at Orlando Pirates next season : Who will be bringing those happy days in Orlando?
1.Pitso Mosimane Following the incident of Mamelodi Sundowns fans attacking him and his Egyptian Team... He won't be joining Downs even if he gets sacked! Mosimane loves Orlando Pirates and he may join them just to hurt his haters closer. Pirates needs to get at least a spot for next season CAF Champions League or Confed because we know it will be hard to coach a team with no Champions league games for Pitso.He is likely to join Pirates
2.Coach Micho - Dr Irvin Khoza is a man that can never be predictable, his decision making is always a suprise to everyone. Micho can be another surprise return. Remember he brought VV and Muhsin back... Coach Micho is just waiting for his call.
3. Gavin Hunt- With his terrable season with Amakhosi of which ruined his CV but we all know what he is capable of, i mean... we loved him before that. He understands almost half of the good players of Pirates since they were playing for him (wits) so he understands most of the Orlando Pirates players more than Zinnbaur, including Ben Motswari and Pule etc. It can be a biggest bomb ticking right now! Remember there are news circulating that Amakhosi are bringing back Stuart Baxter! According to the rumours Hunt is already SACKED! (Hunt)
3.Benni McCarthy! Incredible season with Usuthu! it's also clear that if he started the season with the Durban side...the league table would be more different. McCarthy chose Orlando Pirates over Chiefs and Sundowns before hanging his boots. He is definitely inlove with the Black n White team! Is He ready?
4. Eric Tinkler - A very disciplined coach that took the very same team straight to the CAF Confed final in the previous years. It was unfortunate that they were not signing quality players at that time but we worked with what he had. He was just unlucky that he won zero cups with Pirates but they played an interesting game.
